Since we have children ourselves, we take them to heart and love organizing trips for families - even those with young children.
Among the many different options, families can experience the outdoors and local Italian farming by staying in agriturismi or masserie - working farms that produce exceptional homegrown goods, some of which having animals as well. We have special guides for kids who can open their mind in the countryside as well as in cities and museums. We also love to help kids approach the arts through fun hands-on workshops inside museums or artisan studios, where they can learn to make Venetian masks, Sicilian ceramics, Florentine marbled paper, experiment with fresco painting, recite theater in medieval costumes, and much more - even meet Jewish artisans or artists and have an artistic experience with them.
In addition there are numerous
protected and/or marvelous nature sites that merit exploration for kids and adults alike, from the wild animals and noble summits of Gran Paradiso National Park in Aosta Vally to the flowery Mediterranean coast of the Zingaro National Park in Sicily, and of course more well-known areas such as Cinque Terre and Lake Como.
Ancient mineral mines and open-air archeological parks await our discovery, together with
horseback riding along breathtaking pristine beaches,
kayaking through lake, river and sea, and
biking and hiking from one intriguing medieval village to the next, certainly the best way to explore off-the-beaten-path Italy.
We also
organize parties for kids with clowns, magicians, musicians, performers of typical local music and other artists on request, with kosher food and cakes as well.
